简介

Ratle Kiru Power Transmission Limited was incorporated on 23 October, 2024. The company operates in the power transmission sector, specifically developing an inter-state transmission system (ISTS) scheme for evacuation of power from the Ratle (850 MW) and Kiru (624 MW) hydropower projects located in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, India. The company was established as a special purpose vehicle (SPV) by REC Power Development & Consultancy Ltd (RECPDCL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of REC Limited, to develop and implement the transmission scheme under a tariff-based competitive bidding process. The project includes construction of high-voltage transmission lines and associated infrastructure to connect the hydropower projects to the grid.
